Fluidization principle. A high-pressure Hot air from the supply is passed through the perforated container containing wet granules. As the hot air passes through container granules start to suspend in the air to become dry (called a fluidized state), the process is called fluidization.

OPERATON

The wet material is loaded into the product container which is provided with air distributor plate and Dutch weave mesh. Fresh air-to-product-contact is filtered by means of 3-Way filtration process i.e. through coarse filter, 5-micron filters and the HEPA Filter is heated by means of heater (steam or electrical). This hot air then passes through the product container, creating turbulence in the product and hence product moves up and down in the product container. Due to this the heat transfer is quick and the product is dried fast without appreciable heat loss. Filter bag prevents particle escaping from the dryer.

Material to be dried is placed in a detachable vessel at the bottom of the dryer. The air is introduced from below through the prefilter, heated utilizing heaters installed therein. Simultaneously fan is also allowed to work. As the air velocity increases, the bed expands, and further growth causes turbulent motion of particles called fluidization.

The Closed Combined System- Granulation Line with System consists of a high shear granulator, a fluid bed granulator or a multi-function fluid bed granulator, an auxiliary machine system, a charge and discharge system and an interface element. During granulating, the high shear granulator is fed through the charge system. The obtained wet granules are dried in the fluid bed granulator by the discharge system. During this process, the fully compatible and matched auxiliary equipment with elements assists the granulation.
